Pike Lumber Company is currently seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:

Sawmill Manager

Experienced person in hardwood band sawmilling, scanning technologies, and supervision. Person to be on-site during the spring 2010 construction of our new state-of-the-art sawmill in Milan, Indiana, afterwards managing the mill.
 
 
Assistant Electronics Technician
 
Primary Responsibilities: 
This position will be required to repair, specify and build electronic systems throughout the production facility and offices.
 
    1.      Industrial Process Controls including PLCs, Relay Logic and OEM Process Control Modules.
    2.      Communication Systems including phone/PBX, and intercoms.
    3.      Personal Computers and Network support including routine program updates, switches, hubs, servers, gateway, frame relay, hand held data collectors, test and install software.
    4.      Light industrial mechanical repairs.
 
Desired job qualifications are as follows:
 
    1.      Minimum of Associates degree in Electronic Technologies or  equivalent.
    2.      Good academic performance.
    3.      High-octane work ethic.
    4.      Top communication skills.
    5.      Solid work and character references.
    6.      Familiarity with R/S Logix or equivalent.
    7.      Willingness to learn Spanish.
 
 
 
Entry Level Sales Position
Primary Responsibilities: 
Sales person will be responsible for selling hardwood lumber and wood products produced by the company mills. This person will be trained in all aspects of the production of lumber. This knowledge will then be called upon to assure customers are ordering the appropriate product for their end use.
 
Desired job qualifications are as follows: 
Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (foreign language skills a plus), able to work in a fast paced environment, be detail oriented and computer literate.
